James Paul – Owner & Lead Technician

James is the owner and operator Clean Sweep Chimney Service, LLC. He holds the following professional certifications:

CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep (Chimney Safety Institute of America)

NCSG Certified Chimney Journeyman (National Chimney Sweep Guild)

National Fireplace Institute Wood Specialist Certification

These certifications are maintained through continual education.

James got his start as a chimney professional in 2005 when a family friend asked for James' help for one day on a chimney repair project his company was doing. One day turned into two, then a week, and it's been all about chimneys for James ever since. 

In 2015 James started Clean Sweep Chimney Service, located in McAdoo, PA. Since its inception, James has earned the trust of those he serves. His commitment to his customers and their chimneys is obvious as James makes it a priority to kindly help homeowners better understand the workings of this important system in their homes. 

When he doesn't have his head in a chimney, James enjoys staying active. He is a newly converted triathlete who swims, cycles, runs, and weight trains. He completed his first Ironman 70.3 in 2024 and had a blast doing it!

Rebekah – Co-Owner & Chimney Technician

Rebekah has been working in the chimney industry since 2013 and plays an essential role in the success of Clean Sweep Chimney Service. Her expertise, dedication, and attention to detail help ensure that every job is completed to the highest standards. She is passionate about educating homeowners on fireplace safety and maintenance, making sure that every customer feels confident and informed about their chimney system.
